The MOON 870A Dual-Mono Power Amplifier is a world-class audio component that incorporates a variety of cutting-edge design features to deliver exceptional performance. One of the key features of this amplifier is its proprietary "Lynx" Technology, which eliminates feedback for an improved listening experience. Additionally, the 870A features a custom proprietary toroidal transformer design that reduces magnetic, electrical, and thermal loss, resulting in increased power transfer and lower regulation factor. This leads to improved current speed and better dynamics.

The 870A also boasts fully balanced differential circuitry up to the output stage, which ensures output stability to any known speaker impedance. Additionally, the amplifier features Class A output to 5 watts for greater efficiency and an RS-232 port for full unsolicited bidirectional feedback and firmware updates. The 870A also features an oversized power supply, a short signal path for faster transient response, precision matched and fully decoupled proprietary MOON Bipolar Output transistors, and a high damping factor that yields superior musical dynamics and refined timbre accuracy.

The 870A also boasts an Ultra-rigid chassis construction that minimizes the effects of external vibrations and is designed to be powered up at all times for optimal performance.
